Steven Price - CFO

Steven Price is a financial executive who has experience as a CFO, Controller, auditor and SEC reporting manager for several public companies. Mr. Price was an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University where he taught “Financial Reporting and Analysis” and “Management Accounting” for the MBA program. With expertise in audit management, merger & acquisition due diligence and valuation and financial analysis, Steven will contribute significantly to the success of SharesAG.

Currently, Steven Price is CFO at AZ Health Care Contract Management Services where he restructured the financial department from six to four full time employees by implementing technical efficiencies to automate their accounting and billing systems. He developed a comprehensive budgeting program for forecasting cash flows and manages the company’s risk function including all insurances (CGL, D&O, Employee Practices, Medical/Dental, and WC).

Previously, at Astec Financial Services, Danville, CA, Steven managed the filing of 10Ks, 10Qs and S-8s as well as the preparation of numerous business models complete with full multi year financials suitable for sophisticated investor analysis. He performed valuations of businesses in support of divorces and sale transactions.

Prior to this position, Steven was CFO for Personic Software, Inc., where he managed the growth from $2 million to $20 million in revenues, installation of an IT server room, developed a sales commission plan, and established a budget modeling system to effectively track cash flow and P&L.  He managed their insurance and security programs and performed due diligence for the acquisition of a robot software company.

At The National Registry, Inc. (NASDAQ:NRID), a biometric identification software and manufacturing company, he developed and managed all SEC reporting procedures, investor relations and HR functions and performed due diligence for two acquisition candidates. 

Steven began his career at Coopers & Lybrand, one of the ‘big eight’ accounting firms and has held positions at Citicorp/Citibank’s Information Division as a controller.

Steven Price received an MBA (Beta Gamma Sigma) from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, IL and an active CPA certification from California. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Valuation Analyst and has an MS in accounting from California State University, Sacramento, CA.

Steven Price has membership in professional organizations including the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Arizona Society of CPAs.

Mr. Price served in the United States Air Force where he was Captain and Instructor Navigator on C-5A and C-141 aircraft, and promoted to the position of Major in the reserves after only 8 years total service.

Steven Price was the Founder of the St Petersburg Symphony.
